French Montana reveals collaborations with Travis Barker, The Weeknd + more on ‘Excuse My French’ [Video]

With a slew of Summer releases on the horizon, including their Self Made Vol. 2 compilation which revealed both its cover and tracklisting recently, it’s safe to say that Maybach Music are hip-hop’s biggest dog(s) right about now. Perhaps the most intriguing member on the roster is NYC rapper French Montana, who is gearing up to prove his XXL Freshman worth with his debut album, Excuse My French, on July 17th.

In an interview with Karen Civil, French elaborated on his LP and revealed a number of collaborations, most surprisingly blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and OVOXO crooner The Weeknd.

“Shout out to Travis Barker, I’m working with him, I’m working with The Weeknd, shout out to Kanye, shout out to the whole MMG, shout out to Bad Boy, shout out to Coke Boys, Harry Fraud, shout out to everybody that helped me with my album,” he said. “It’s gonna be something real special.”

French also spoke on MMG’s press conference, the team’s newest addition Omarion, the lead single from Excuse My French, “Pop That” which features Rick Ross, Drake, Lil Wayne and Uncle Luke of popular ’80s rap group 2 Live Crew, and his recent mixtape, Coke Boys 3.
