Frank Ocean’s ‘channel ORANGE’ will be available on iTunes tonight | Music News

After occupying headlines for nearly a week for reasons totally unrelated to music, Frank Ocean now makes the news for a different reason. Billboard has confirmed that the soulful crooner’s highly-anticipated album channel ORANGE will be released digitally a full week before its scheduled physical release date.

The album is expected to be released via iTunes shortly after midnight EST Tuesday morning, coinciding with Ocean’s appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Fallon hinted at a “big announcement” about Ocean’s album via his Twitter account Monday evening, but the cat has apparently been let out of the bag.

The album will be available exclusively via iTunes until its official, full release on July 17th.
