Frank Ocean’s ‘channel ORANGE’ debuts at No. 2 on Billboard Top 200 | Music News

After debuting at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart on Sunday (July 15th), Frank Ocean‘s channel ORANGE album has achieved the same feat on the US Billboard 200, entering at the No. 2 spot, also. The LP shifted a little over 130,000 copies, topping its projected sales of 110-125k.

It’s worth nothing, however, that these numbers were achieved through digital copies only, as the album was made available exclusively through iTunes last week (July 11th), seven days earlier than its physical release.

Already one of the most acclaimed releases of the year, a No. 2 prize is a fitting accomplishment for Mr. Ocean as he continues to break the mainstream. You can purchase channel ORANGE digitally through iTunes or physically on Amazon.
