Frank Ocean covers Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees” [Video]

Whilst performing at a recent Spotify event in New York, Frank Ocean wowed some of his fans with a very special cover of Radiohead‘s ’95 classic “Fake Plastic Trees“.

The track, which originally appeared on the British group’s second album The Bends, is hardly the easiest to cover, but the Odd Future man does a remarkably good job at matching Thom Yorke’s sad falsetto, and has the small crowd whooping in the fan-filmed visual below. All that experience listening to alt-rock and indie music (even when girls asked “What is a radiohead?” on “Bitches Talkin“) occasionally comes in handy for the R&B sensation. Check it out below:
