Erykah Badu blasts Papoose for unauthorised use of her vocals on “Cure”

Taking aim at Papoose for the unauthorised use of her voice on a track featured on his recent album The Nacirema Dream, Erykah Badu claims that she did not give the New York rhymer permission to use her vocals on the track, “Cure.” Stating that she sang the vocals featured on the track ten years ago, Badu took to Twitter to air her frustrations.

Papoose’s continuously delayed album contains the track in question – and after hearing the song leak a week or so ago the neo-soul visionary claimed that the vocals are a decade old. No official statement has been made by either camp.

Check out the song below.
