Eminem x Dr. Dre to feature on upcoming Obie Trice album | Music News

Who remembers Obie Trice? (Hums the “Got Some Teeth” chorus). Of course you do. Well, it seems after taking a prolonged hiatus since 2006 with his last effort Second Round’s On Me, the Detroit emcee is back – and he has VIP company with him.

Despite departing Shady Records in 2008, Obie Trice has secured features from label boss Eminem and producer heavyweight Dr. Dre for his forthcoming album Bottoms Up – the first release on the rapper’s independent label, Black Market Entertainment/Fontana Distro – which is scheduled to arrive in April.

With solid collaborations like 2003’s “Shit Hits The Fan” under the trio’s belt, the formation looks to offer exciting, nostalgic music to add to the 16-track album. The first single from the LP, “Battle Cry” featuring Adrian Reeza, was released back in August. Listen below.
