Not gonna lie. I’m super excited and curious to hear Earl Sweatshirt‘s debut album, Doris and that feeling has greatly multiplied with this latest release, “Sunday,” on which Earl brings fellow Odd Future member Frank Ocean along for the ride. While you might be expecting some sweet vocals from the singer, Frank Ocean actually contributes with a rap verse and a very specific Sunday reference.

“I mean he called me a f**got, I was just calling his bluff. I mean how anal am I gonna be when I’m aiming my gun. And why’s his mug all bloody that was a 3 on 1. Standing ovation at Staples, I got my Grammy’s and gold,” says Frank on the mic. If that sounds familiar, then you might remember a certain Chris Brown altercation which ironically also happened on a Sunday.

Expect to hear more from the honest mind of Earl Sweatshirt when Doris drops August 20 but for now, stream “Sunday” below.
