Drake still managed by Hip Hop Since 1978, reps clarify management reports | Music News

Yesterday the New York Post reported Drake has dropped his management in the midst of a successful career due to the fact he felt he had “too many hands in his pockets.” This morning, however, reps clarify that this is not the case. While Drake has parted ways with International Creative Management, (ICM), the rapper is still being represented by United States based company Hip Hop Since 1978.

This means that he is still being managed by Gee Roberson, Al Branch, Kyambo Joshua and Bryant Cortez. The only change is that William Morris Entertainment will now be representing and booking the rapper across the world as opposed to ICM.

Guess that means the supposed Lil Wayne and Drake beef is false too. Phew.
