Dom Kennedy reveals ‘Yellow Album’ artwork + collaborations | Music News

West Coast spitter Dom Kennedy will look to edge further into the mainstream (or at least into this new mainstream-indie scene that’s currently cultivating) with the release of his latest project, Yellow Album, which he has confirmed will arrive tomorrow (June 21st). Leaked through Twitter (where else these days?), here we have the retro-inspired artwork for Dom’s highly anticipated LP.

While we’ve only heard a single cut from the record thus far, with “My Type of Party“, Dom revealed a number of the collaborations earlier today. Maybach Music boss Rick Ross, Top Dawg Ent. talent Kendrick Lamar, Young Jeezy‘s right-hand man Freddie Gibbs and the OG Too $hort will be among those guesting.

Yellow Album will drop for free (“It’s not a mixtape we just giving it away for free. Thank u to my fans for supporting me the last year allowing me to create from the heart,” the rapper clarified with a tweet) on LiveMixtapes.com and TheYellowAlbum.com tomorrow (June 21st) at 5pm PST / 1am GMT.
