DJ Khaled f/ Kanye West, Rick Ross – ‘I Wish You Would’ (Prod. Hit-Boy) | New Music
DJ Khaled‘s knack for putting his name on (I say this because he’s hardly the creative centerpiece behind the music, is he?) Summer hits is undeniable. After dominating last year’s sunny season with the Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne-assisted “I’m On One”, the We The Best mogul drops off the first single from his upcoming album, Kiss The Ring, one which immediately enters contention as 2012’s Summer smash.
Entitled “I Wish You Would”, Khaled pulls out all the big guns, enlisting the MMG President Rozay, once again, and the-man-who-needs-no-introduction Kanye West to pour fuel onto the fire of his spacey club jam. Arguably the hottest beatmaker in hip-hop (Eminem and Lil Wayne’s “No Love”, The Throne‘s “N*ggas In Paris” and A$AP Rocky‘s “Goldie” can attest to that) Hit-Boy is the sonic architect behind this one.
Stream “I Wish You Would” below. Kiss The Ring hits the streets on August 21st.
