Diddy-Dirty Money London HMV instore x album launch (Jan 20) | Pics x Video

Diddy-Dirty Money hit London town last week as part of their European promotional tour – and of course a party was in order. SoulCulture were invited to attend the group’s intimate album listening session at the Pigalle Club in the West End on Thursday evening, to party away to a wide selection of hits from Diddy’s back-catalogue of musical involvement, spun by DJ Manny Norte. And party we did.

But first – a busy HMV instore at the retailer’s Central London branch on Oxford Street in the early evening. Thousands of fans crammed into the venue to see Diddy speak about the group’s new album, Last Train To Paris [click for our review], sign copies of their new single “Coming Home” [featuring Skylar Grey] and to launch his Diddy Beats headphone range.

Later that night the stylish D-Dirty Money crew, individually Diddy, Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper, put on an entertaining evening, dancing and singing along to highlights from their new album. Definitely one for the clubs, a fellow attendee next to me nodded as the room bounced in agreement.

In a show closing spectacle ensuring a memorable night, Diddy brought invited ‘Team UK’ stars to join him onstage, with impromptu performances from homegrown rappers Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Skepta and Wretch 32 setting the room fully aflame – all captured in Neil Raja‘s photography below.

Good times!
