When, as a fashion label, you’re referred to as “Your Favourite Rappers’ Favourite Brand” it makes perfect sense to enlist a Hip-Hop name to be the face of your clothes, which is just what New York based streetwear brand Rocksmith has done as Curren$y models their upcoming Fall collection.
The rapper can be seen decked out in Rocksmith’s new heritage sport style collection which has been dubbed the “New Classic” due to its new take on classic cuts and styles, that we can see him rocking in this behind-the-scenes video. During the shoot, Curren$y changes into a number of outfits, taking it all in his stride as he wears polo shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and five-panel caps mostly sticking to an all American red, white and blue palette.
The second half of the behind-the-scenes footage plays along with a world premiere of his new track “442,” which is taken from Curren$y’s upcoming project New Jet City (Directors Cut). Check out the song snippet and a preview of the collection below.
