Co$$ – ‘She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not’ [EP] | Free Download

If someone were to ask me who the most underrated rapper to emerge in the last decade is, Co$$ would undoubtedly be in my top three. Ahead of a dropping a new single entitled “Black Hockey Players” featuring Blu, Ras Kass and Planet Asia, the Leimert Park rapper has released She Love Me, She Loves Me Not, an aptly-timed love-centric EP for fans to keep fans satisfied until his next full length.

If you’re a fan of Fashawn, Shawn JacksonFreddie Gibbs or Exile you’ll have likely heard of the rapper (also known as Cashus King) before, as the talented wordsmith has worked with all of those artists on a number of occasions and frequently works with his homies Blu and Sene (see: “Pot Ash”,  “Tick Tock”, “Ain’t No Justice”, “Born Again”).

Having released a number of brilliant mixtapes (especially Sleepwalking) and a fantastic album in the form of Before I Awoke (“What It Is?” is my jam), Co$$ has an effortless yet passionate flow that blurs the lines between rap and spoken word, with a knack for writing songs that hit home more than those of most rappers . If his previous affection-orientated songs such as “Love Is” are anything to go by, the EP will be one you’ll be keeping in rotation for a long while.
