If you’ve been riding shotgun with us for the past few days, you should have picked up Children of the Night‘s “Kids From Queens” track (if not, shame on you – here’s the link). You should also be aware that the group have been prepping their Queens… Revisited project for a release today. Well, keeping their promise (which, like your Momma used to say, is always a good thing), the NYC trio have in fact dropped their anticipated mixtape just moments ago.

Children of the Night may be newcomers, but they certainly don’t suffer from the pitfalls of being newbies. “ILYAS” and the aforementioned “Kids From Queens” were the early releases from the mixtape, and while you may not have realised it then, they serve as a pretty accurate advertisement for the rest of the record: high production value, rhythmic nods to the ’90s foundation and a big chubby finger planted firmly on the pulse of what’s cool.
