Childish Gambino announces release date of next mixtape | Music News
While we’ve yet to learn the title or tracklisting for his next mixtape, Childish Gambino announced earlier today that the project will be out on July 4th, the same day as his scheduled London gig (details here).
It’s unclear as to whether his previously-released tracks, including “Unnecessary” with ScHoolboy Q, “Black Faces” featuring Nipsey Hussle, and the Beck-assisted “Silk Pillow“, along with solo cuts like “Untitled” and “Shoulda Known“, will land on the tape, but Donald Glover has done enough to up the anticipation.
In support of the release, Gambino will be playing a slew of dates in the Summer and Autumn, including appearances at Wirelss Festival, T In The Park and Lollapalooza. See the full schedule here.
