Chief Keef freestyles at a gun range for Pitchfork’s ‘Selector’ [Video]

Whether it’s filming Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire in a strip club or Action Bronson from an ice cream van (which was last week’s hilarious episode), Pitchfork always pick brilliant spots to hold their Selector series. For the latest installment, the indie blog welcomed Chief Keef along to a gun range (how fitting) in New York, where the young Interscope-signed upstart put his bang bang credibility to the test.

Not before the customary interview and freestyle portion, though. Keef spoke on when he first picked up rapping, says he’s waiting for Interscope to give him the green light to start on his debut album and announced fellow Trap Rap dons Yo Gotti, Young Jeezy, Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane will feature on his upcoming mixtape, Finally Rich, which is hosted by DJ Drama.

Then, the choice came between “Basic Asics” by Skywlkr or “Stunna Shades” by Team Elite for the off-the-dome challenge. I think you can guess which beat he chose.
