Diamond in the rough alert! 18 year old North London residing talent Caitlyn Scarlett is definitely one to keep both eyes and ears on over the forthcoming months. The young singer-songwriter with strong ties to the fast rising Space Age collective, having collaborated with the crew’s breakout star Little Simz on a fair few projects, is already grabbing the attention of tastemakers across the globe with her debut outing “Bad Love”.

Produced by Ayo Beatz, the soundscape is an EDM tinged effort in the vein of cuts made recently popular by the likes of Disclosure, Rudimental etc, but the winning element of the song is purely Caitlin’s voice and songwriting. A rich, accented and honest vocal and lyrical display from Ms. Scarlett is enough to win over even the most jaded listener after one spin.

Press play below and look out for her debut EP Jurassic Juke Box and Other Drugs, which is set to be released in April.
