Busta Rhymes welcomes N.O.R.E to the Conglomerate | Music News

In what could be described as one of, if not the most random Hip Hop power move of 2011, Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes has welcomed fellow veteran emcee N.O.R.E to his Conglomerate family. Bussa Bus made an official announcement [via Twitter], that N.O.R.E. had joined the collective.

N.O.R.E joins Nikki Grier, the niece of the original Foxy Brown, Pam Grier, Reek Da Villain, former member of Flipmode Squad and proclaimed protege of Busta, Lonnie B and J. Dough on the roster at Conglomerate Records.

Mr. Ni***s On the Run Eatin’, who recently split with his longtime rhyme partner Capone, is gearing up to release his seventh solo album, S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G previously named N.O.R.E. Pt. 2: Born Again.

I personally don’t see why N.O.R.E would sign with Busta, as he himself struggles to ignite interest in his own personal projects not to mention previously guide the careers of Rah Digga and the rest of his former Flip Mode crew. Lets not forget that the once herald New York emcee, Papoose was also signed to Busta Rhymes in his ill-fated $1.5 Million deal with Jive. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens…

Six Degrees of Seperation… As a member of Capone-N-Noreaga, N.O.R.E signed to Icewater Entertainment owned by legendary emcee Raekwon, who was once himself signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records with Busta Rhymes.
