Boyz II Men to celebrate 20th anniversary with double disc album ‘Twenty’ | Music News

The Grammy award winning R&B veteran group Boyz II Men will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album by releasing a new album of original material and past hits.

The boys released their first album Cooleyhighharmony in 1991 and went on to become one of the biggest groups of all time, selling millions of albums, and to commemorate this the double CD entitled Twenty will be available exclusively at Walmart in the States in autumn consisting of 10 new songs and 10 updated versions of classics including “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” and “Bended Knee.”

They are currently in the studio working with hitmakers such as Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Dallas Austin, Teddy Riley, Tim & Bob and others.

Wanya Morris said, “We started with a pure love for music, so to be here twenty years later still doing what we love has been a pure blessing,” while fellow member Shawn Stockman said, “From day one our fans have been amazing. They’ve seen us grow from boys to men, so we owe all our success to their continued support.”

Nathan Morris added, “No matter how many albums we have done throughout the years, we always strive to put out the best-sounding music possible. We are excited to be in the studio again with the guys who have been a part of some of our biggest hits to date. It’s a really good feeling.”

They will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later this year.
