Boyz II Men awarded Hollywood Walk Of Fame star | Music News

Having sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, Boyz II Men hold the title for the most successful R&B group of all time and have been rewarded with the monumental accolade of receiving the 2,456th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Shawn Stockman, Wayna Morris, Nathan Morris and fourth member Michael McCary who left the group in 2003 due to health issues were all there, with Babyface, Michael Bivins, and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis in attendance.

Shawn to his friends and family, “I can’t explain how happy I am. This is one of the happiest days of my life. The beautiful thing about this is that some of these people I haven’t seen in about 10, 15 years and it’s even deeper than the scar itself. It brought true love and true friendship back together.”

Wayna added, “It’s the best feeling in the world to 20 years later be standing here in front of everybody and be appreciated, which means that we did our jobs and the job that we did is memorable.” Watch the video of them accepting their place on the walk of fame below.

Starting on January 13, the trio who recently celebrated their 20th anniversary will begin a 17-city European tour in Berlin – visit for tickets and information.
