Blur debuts ‘The Puritan’ + ‘Under The Westway’ via live stream | Music News

Two years after their last release, legendary British alternative rock band Blur is back with some brand new material. The follows up their 2010 single “Fool’s Day” with not one, but two new tracks.

The band took to their Twitter account earlier this evening to reveal the live stream link via which they debuted both tracks ahead of their individual releases. The tracks, entitled “The Puritan” and “Under The Westway,” will also be included in the band’s live performance at this year’s London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony concert August 12th.

Blur is also set to release a 21-disc compilation box set of their previous material July 30th.

Both new tracks are available to pre-order as a coloured limited edition 7″ and digitally via iTunes. Stream the new songs via Blur’s official website now.
