Last week YouTube sensation Jeremy Passion hit the UK for a one-off date in Notting Hill. The singer, from San Francisco, California became an internet hit after posting a cover medley featuring Ne-Yo’s “So Sick” and Trey Songz’s “Can’t Help But Wait”, which has now racked up nearly 2.5million views, and has built up a substantial online following on the strength of his YouTube content. Jeremy was joined by a number of “friends” during his London show, including Justin Timberlake signee Esmee Denters and London’s very own Bluey Robinson, who is no stranger to YouTube success himself.
Bluey took to the stage alongside the headline act to perform a cover of the Destiny’s Child single “Cater 2 U” – watch out for the dope switch-up later in the song, which I won’t spoil here. This isn’t quite pitch perfect throughout, but we already know that both these guys can sing their asses off – check the adlibs in the last minute for evidence of this.
And if that wasn’t enough, the pair dropped a video for a live acoustic cover of Musiq Soulchild‘s classic debut single “Just Friends” which they recorded during rehearsals for the show. I see you stunting at the end with the falsetto Bluey.
