Black Star, Common, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Nas, Mobb Deep &more Rock The Bells in Cali [Videos]

Get ready, there’s a whole heap of videos here that could well ruin any plans you had for productivity for the next few hours… Last weekend, San Bernadino in California got the first experience of the pant wetting lineup for Rock The Bells 2011. Nas, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Raekwon & Ghostface, Common, Cypress Hill, Black Star and Mobb Deep are just some of the names that graced the stage at the annual touring Hip Hop event.

Nas in fact performed his classic album Illmatic live in it’s entirety – as did Mobb Deep their The Infamous album. As you’ll also see from the fan-captured videos below, Nas teamed up with Common to perform their recent track “Ghetto Dreams” for the first time live on stage. You also get a battle between DJ Premier and Pete Rock, and Lauryn Hill performing songs from her classic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

If there was ever a time a wish I lived over the other side of the pond, I suppose you could say now is that time. Also, somebody end the NBA lockout because Ron Artest needs to drop the mic and get back on the court (even though he doesn’t rap in these videos).
