Remember Black Rob? Bad Boy‘s ultimate bad boy, with some serious artillery when it came to rap. Returning to speakers with the new mixtape Genuine Article, BR gives fans a taster in the form of an array of dope snippets.

First off, the mixtape sounds like ‘Woah’ (had to get that in there). Featuring the likes of Sadat X, Harry Fraud, Nate Dogg, and Sauce Money, BR also calls on a bunch of former Bad Boy artists – Craig Mack, Q Parker, E-Ness, and Mark Curry – to jump on the tape. He even finds a moment to reference the currently incarcerated Petey Pablo – for those that don’t know, Black Rob is the reason why the North Carolina rapper got signed in the first place.

With Black Rob’s last album being the 2011 Duck Down Records release Game Tested, Streets Approved, word is that he’s currently working on releasing Life Story 2, the follow up to his million-plus selling Bad Boy debut. Stay tuned for details on the Genuine Article‘s release – and whet your appetite with the snippets below.
