Big Sean performs “Switch Up” live for the first time [Video]

Taking over the University of Southern California to headline Springfest 2013, Big Sean not only treated his fans to a string of his hits but also took the oppurtunity to perform his recently released “Switch Up” live for the first time for the lively crowd.

The song, produced by No I.D., Rob Kinelski and Million $ Mano, fitted in perfectly with the Springfest activities as Sean bounced around the stage energetically accompanied by the banging beat supporting him. Despite Common not being able to make it to do his verse, Sean represented his G.O.O.D Music affiliates by going straight into the cliques remix of Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like.”

Speaking of his G.O.O.D Music affiliates, after taking to Twitter to clear up rumours that certain lyrics on the song were a shot at Kid Cudi‘s departure from the label (“The same team? Nah, I ain’t switch up”), Sean further reiterated the point before heading into the track saying that it definitely isn’t a diss track.

“This is real mutha f*ckin song, it aint no diss song. It’s just for everybody. This my first time doing this sh*t for USC, my first time doing it in the world, so we gotta turn the f*ck up.”
