Big Boi’s new album ‘Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors’ to feature Big KRIT + UGK

Atlanta emcee and one half of exalted rap duo Outkast, Big Boi announces the title of his sophomore solo album.

Whilst many fans ache for a new Outkast project [and Andre 3000 is busy acting], Big Boi’s 2010 album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty more than held it down solo with quick witted wordplay, a smorgasbord of bouncing beats and catchy choruses; maintaining his cut above the rest position with widespread critical acclaim and a US Top 10 debut.

With his follow-up in the making, the rapper took to Twitter this weekend to announce:

Adding more southern standouts to the pot he’s cooking, Big Boi also reveals that stellar Mississipi born emcee Big K.R.I.T. and revered Texas hailing duo UGK [Bun B alongside the late Pimp C] are set to feature on a track together on his new album.

That’s a pretty musically exciting collaboration to whet the appetite. Let the anticipation begin and stay tuned for more news on Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
