Big Boi announces ‘Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors’ release date + first single | Music News

Hip-hop received some of its best news in a long time a fortnight ago when Big Boi announced a new solo album on the horizon with Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors (contrary to the previously thought title, Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader). As a guest on Elliott Wilson‘s East Village Radio show yesterday, the famed OutKast member revealed the release date for the sought-after follow up to 2010’s Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. His new LP will arrive on November 13th.

Hinting at the project on Twitter previously, ‘Dre confirmed that “Gossip” featuring Southern titans Big K.R.I.T. and UGK will be the album’s first single, and is due out soon. Having been snapped in the studio together last month, Kid Cudi is also expected to make an appearance on the record.

As if that isn’t enough of a treat, hip-hop fans can expect a new solo album from ‘Kast’s other half Andre 3000, who is set to release a new solo LP following the release of Big Boi’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
