Azealia Banks – ‘Jumanji’ | New Music
Aside from the disappointing, but understanding, cancellations of the majority of her festival appearances this Summer, Azealia Banks has been making some power moves recently. Having impressed all at Coachella, switched to the same management as Lady Gaga and set to collaborate with the iconic Missy Elliott, the Harlem-hailing femcee caps it all off with this new track, “Jumanji”.
With electronic DJs Hudson Mohawke and Nick Hook commandeering the sound behind the boards, Ms. Banks’ newest number is molded into a vibrant and dynamic number that bursts with musical energy for the weekend. You already know Azealia handles her duties on the mic.
As previously mentioned, “Jumanji” will feature on the newly-announced mixtape, Fantastic, which is penciled in for a release this Summer. With her 1991 EP set to drop later this month, and the debut album Broke With Expensive Taste arriving in the Autumn, it’s safe to say Azealia Banks will claim the lion’s share of 2012.
Give the new track a spin below.
