Asher Roth – ‘Turnip the Beet’ | New Music

Asher Roth keeps his “Ash Wednesdays” tradition alive by leaking “Turnip the Beet” (get it?), which may or may not appear on his forthcoming sophomore set Is This Too Orange?

Ash Rizzy uses the snare-heavy David Appleton production to do some verbal tapdancing about nothing in particular around the KRS-One vocal sample used for a hook.

Is This Too Orange? does not have a release date yet, but it is expected to feature cameos from names like Rye Rye and Jessie J and production from the likes of Organized Noise and, of course, Asher’s go-to guy Oren Yoel.
