Asher Roth f/ Meek Mill – “Party Girl” (Prod. Oren Yoel) | New Music

Def Jam‘ recent addition Asher Roth has kept mum about his upcoming sophomore album, the follow up to his 2009 breakout LP Asleep In The Bread Aisle, for many months, but today the Blonde Bob Saget delivers its first single, seemingly out of the orang – I mean blue (bad joke?).

In what makes for an interesting combination both on paper and in the headphones, the polar opposites of Philadelphia’s hip-hop spectrum merge on “Party Girl”, as Ash Roth and MMG‘s Meek Mill do the dance over club-catered production (and an Eddie Murphy sample) courtesy of long-time Roth partner, Oren Yoel.

It may serve as the next potential candidate to fill the grooves of “I Love College”, but don’t doubt Rawth Dawg’s lyrical worth for a second (see: Pabst & Jazz).

Miss Info, who scooped this exclusive, details that an alternative version of “Party Girl” is on its way (featuring a very special guest) and the artwork for Asher’s forthcoming sophomore album Is This Too Orange? is “un-freaking-believable”.

Look for “Party Girl” to arrive on the iTunes store tomorrow and stay tuned for Is This Too Orange?, which is penciled in for an Autumn release.
