Robin Thicke‘s latest single “Blurred Lines” has received an overwhelming response since release and has even been crowned Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as of this week, so it was only a matter of time before someone added a freestyle to this infectious tune – and first up, it’s Asher Roth.

In preparation for his upcoming mixtape, The Greenhouse Effect vol.2, which will be hosted by Don Cannon and DJ Drama, Asher drops a fun verse over the “Blurred Lines” beat and makes sure not to tamper too much with the original, slotting his freestyle in effortlessly between Robin and Pharrell‘s vocals.

In fact, the Pennsylvania rapper admitted that he was offended Pharrell hadn’t asked him to jump on the track with them initially, by tweeting: “I let @Pharrell know I was super bummed he didn’t let me feature on this”. Oh well, he’s kind of rectified that now. Kind of. Listen to Asher’s “Blurred Lines” freestyle below.
