Angel Haze freestyles over “Tom Ford” x “Worst Behaviour” | New Music

Angel Haze recently revealed plans for a new project, the “30 Gold” freestyle series (30 freestyles in 30 days), dropping some fresh rhymes on the instrumental for Kanye West‘s “Black Skinhead” to kick off the proceedings.

As expected the Detroit-hailing MC follows up the ferocious freestyle with her take on two more big Hip-Hop records: “Tom Ford,” taken from Jay Z‘s latest LP Magna Carta… Holy Grail, and Drake‘s rebellious Nothing Was The Same album track “Worst Behaviour.”

Haze delivers some free-flowing, in-your-face rhymes over the Timbaland-produced track, showing some tangible hunger, but after taking to Twitter to give her fans a choice between two tracks she showed preference towards the Nothing Was The Same cut for the third instalment of the “30 Gold” series. This rendition contains more passion-fuelled aggression as we hear the rapper subtly borrowing Drizzy’s original flow and ad-libs, adding background vocals to give the final product a unique identity stamp.

As publicised the “30 Gold” project serves as a warm up to Angel Haze’s forthcoming debut album Dirty Gold due to be dropping sometime next year. Take a listen to both freestyles below.
