Amy Winehouse Plans New Album For January 2011 | News

I’ve been getting excited and hopeful just seeing Amy Winehouse back on the streets of London looking healthy, clean and happy recently. So now there’s word of new music, I’m even more amped. Speaking to The Metro newspaper earlier this week, the singer revealed she’s ready to work on her new album and explained the style of the pending new material.

‘The album will be six months at the most,’ The Grammy award-winner added that it will be similar to her hit record Back To Black, explaining: ‘It’s going to be very much the same as my second album, where there’s a lot of jukebox stuff and the songs that are… just jukebox, really.’

The album project will be her first since 5-time Grammy winning, 10 million + selling Back To Black‘s release in October 2006. I’d assume it far too premature to get over-zealous regarding Amy’s album plans, however, I’m just glad the songstress is in the press for her music and not her previously marred personal life.
