Alicia Keys x Jay Sean perform at Black Ball NYC [Video]

Alicia Keys and Jay Sean hit the stage to perform Jay’s “Ride It” and The Beatles‘ “Something” at the eigth Annual Black Ball event in New York. Alicia, being the philanthropist that she is, participated in the event as a part of the Keep a Child Alive charity, which Keys started in 2003 to provide AIDS treatment, care, nutrition, support services and love to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India by directly engaging the global public in the fight against AIDS.

This theme for the 2011 event was India, apart of the theme, top Indian fusion groups Midival Punditz and Karsh Kal performed for invited Indian guests. Other well-known celebs in attendance were Keys’ husband, rapper-producer Swizz Beatz, Black Eyed Peas leader, Richie Sambora, Norah Jones, Gary Clark Jr., David Arquette, Queen Latifah, Tyra Banks, Clive Davis, and Usher.

The event raised over $3 million for Keep a Child Alive’s fight against HIV/AIDS struggles throughout the world.
