Action Bronson freestyles on Pitchfork’s “Selector” [Video]

Pitchfork have had some laughs in their Selector series, but none funnier than this latest clip. The crew caught up with Action Bronson in Brooklyn as he rode through town in an ice cream van, you know, moving that white and making that cream – no sprinkles. Before getting into the freestyle portion, Bam Bam talked making Blue Chips 2 with Party Supplies, his joint album with The Alchemist, Rare Chandeliers (which is coming very soon, he assures us) and working with one producer for whole projects.

Usually, Pitchfork would pose the artist with two obscure beats, giving them the choice to pick one to rap over (hence “Selector”), but Action don’t play by nobody’s rules, and went ahead and kicked rhymes over the ice cream van music. Only he could lace your favourite childhood memory with words like “pussy” and “hash”. Check it out below.
