A$AP Rocky’s Long.Live.A$AP takes the No.1 spot on the Billboard album chart | Music News

The A$AP mob will be celebrating tonight as A$AP Rocky‘s debut (and long awaited) album Long.Live.A$AP storms in to the Billboard charts beating all competition to sit pretty in the no.1 spot – and that’s despite the album leaking a month early! The Harlem rapper’s legion of fans stayed patient and went out and bought the offical copy to support his first album.

The album leaked in its entirety towards the end of December, but Rocky has proved that a leak doesn’t hurt your album sales if your music actually holds weight. Not only did he peak in America with over 138,000 copies shifted, but the album also reached no.1 spot in Canada as well as coming in at no.7 in the UK and top ten in other countries across Europe.

Long.Live.A$AP holds the no.1 spot in the official Billboard album chart, as well as the Hip-Hop, R&B and digital album charts.
