A$AP Rocky – “Goldie” (Slim K Slowdown) | New Music

Slim K is (slowly) climbing the ladder as one of the internet’s favourite chopped & screwed artists. Following a slew of Sprite-laced interpretations that includes The Weeknd‘s mixtape trilogy, Wiz Khalifa‘s Taylor Allderdice and most recently G.O.O.D. Music‘s “Mercy“, the DJ-producer returns to slowdown another recent hit with A$AP Rocky‘s “Goldie“.

As you’d expect, Rocky and Hit-Boy‘s original transforms into a yawning and lethargic cut perfect for those syrup-sipping sessions. It’s surprising that this is only one of few Rocky remixes Slim K has set his purple-tinted sights on, considering how tailored the A$AP chief’s sound is for the legendary DJ Screw technique. Judging by this number, maybe he should chop and screw more.
