As expected, A$AP Rocky‘s hit single “Goldie” – the first from his forthcoming debut album, LongLiveA$AP – will be receiving the customary visual treatment. Today we have the first behind the scenes look at the shoot, straight from Paris (perhaps a nod to the song’s beatmaker Hit-Boy, who is of “N****s In Paris” production fame). Rocky promises his self-directed clip will be something special.

“Basically the concept of the video is to be more flamboyant and just to showcase a lot of flashy luxury, old foreign cars, fashion models – nice stuff,” he details. The rapper also gives us sneak peeks of the video itself and previews his wardrobe for the shoot, supplied by fashion designer Alexander Wang (with whom he gets on a video chat later on).

The “Goldie” video is coming soon to a YouTube screen near you. In the meantime, look for the song to hit the iTunes store tomorrow.
