With pleasure we welcome back UKSoulJam favourite Jason Jermaine. Coming up under the guidance and production of Shola Ama and D’Influence producer Kwame & having a Major label deal early on – Jason has continued to refine his art into an infectiously raw & catchy mix of Soul, Rock & R&B with a spirit reminiscent of early Prince. Jason has performed the world over and also hosted his own shows since his last UKSoulJam appearance.

Swedish born London resident Cecilia Stalin’s breakthru came with Nu Jazz act Koop “Waltz For Koop” ft on Woody Allen’s “Match Point” film soundtrack. We look forward to the return of one of our freshest, most explosive Neo Soul & R&B acts – Grace Obika. Grace comes from a talented Nigerian musical family which inc. her relative – UK R&B star Lemar, Grace’s talents were spotted early on by House & Garage producer Karl ‘Tuff Enough’ Brown of “TJR” production fame. Grace has performed in the heart of Soul music – Atlanta USA as well as on MTV TV. Grace is also a notable live performer impressing crowds at Ronnie Scotts in addition to our very own UKSoulJam. Last year Grace was acknowledged by the African Music Awards and is currently working on her new album which features collabs with artists such as Sway.

Spectators of UKSoulJam show may have noted when the show features a Spoken Word artist or an MC they must be at the top of their game, content and delivery wise. Starting off as a Garage MC & DJ, Greeds refined his art into a mix of Poetry and Soulful, Jazz fusion influenced music. His work is expressive and animated, drawing from fantasy themes right through to observations on love, sex & social commentary. Greeds has just released a critically acclaimed album Volume In Silence – pick up a copy at this gig.

Atlanta Smith is a singer-songwriter who came to our attention via Productions from the “Female Beatmakers” camp. We could immediately here her potential & natural talent.
