50 Cent reveals new artwork, changes release date for ‘5 (Murder by Numbers)’ | Music News

After taking to his Twitter account earlier today to clarify that his new project 5 (Murder By Numbers), while consisting of all original material, will be a free release, 50 Cent today changed both the release date and cover art for the project.

Fif has decided to scrap the fiery cover he’d initially chosen, opting instead for a simpler look featuring a childhood, ice-grilled picture of his now-teenage son, Marquise. As for the release date, those of us expecting to get our greedy little hands on the album today will have to wait until July 6. That’s Fif’s birthday, so I guess this is his gift to us.

It’s also the “appetizer,” so he says, to his next Interscope release, tentatively titled Street King Immortal and tentatively slated for a November release.

Everything is “tentative” because, as you can see, Fif likes to switch things up on us at the last minute. Keep it locked to SoulCulture for all the latest.
