50 Cent announces ‘Street King Immortal’ album release date | Music News

Earlier this month, just prior to the release of his 5 (Murder By Numbers) album, we reported that 50 Cent‘s aforementioned 5… project was a free release, and his official fifth studio album would, in fact, be called Street King Immortal. In a press release shared by Interscope, it has been announced that the LP will be released on November 13th.

Street King Immortal, a reference to his recently-launched energy drink, marks a comeback of sorts for Curtis, serving as his first album in three years, since 2009’s largely underwhelming Before I Self Destruct. The first single from his new LP, “New Day” featuring Dr. Dre and Alicia Keys, was just released over the weekend, and you can get a listen to that here.

Stay tuned for more details on the album as they become available. Let’s hope delays don’t plague this new record.
