40, Kanye, Lex Luger, Salaam Remi among Billboard’s Hot R&B/HipHop Producers of 2011 | Music News

The end of year round ups and charts according to music magazines and blogs are a salute to the albums, singles, videos, musicians and producers who deserve recognition for sales, impact and stripes gained throughout the year. We brought you TIME and Rolling Stone’s top 10 albums for 2011 list and now Billboard have published their top 25 hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs producers for the year.

The top spot goes to Canadian R&B, hip hop and ‘post-heartbreak Hip Hop’ producer Noah Shebib, better known to us as 40 who is most well known for his eerie yet soulful beats on many a heartbreak Drake record, as well as Lil Wayne, Trey Songz and Lloyd. Kanye West, Stargate, J.U.S.T.I.C.E LEAGUE and Salaam Remi also made their top 25, as well as a refreshing mention going to Fisticuffs, who featured heavily on one of the best mixtapes to hit the webs this year from Jhene Aiko.
