Snapshot: B.o.B “Strange Clouds” | Cover Art

March 20th, 2012 | by Max-El

Grand Hustle representer B.o.B gives us a peek at the cover art for his upcoming sophomore set, Strange Clouds. Speaking to PopCrush about the album’s title, the Decatur, Georgia, native says: “It’s really like a fusion between the Hip-Hop lifestyle and the people whose thoughts cross into the other realm of thinking, outside of the norm, which may be considered strange or weird, or unique. And, I feel like it’s all about hybridizing these two different worlds — on the ground level to the skies. If that makes sense.”

No, Bobby Ray, it really doesn’t. But we’ll keep listening anyway. Learn a bit more about the album after the jump.

Strange Clouds features collaborations with T.I. (of course), Lil’ Wayne, Andre 3000 and “some surprises,” B.o.B shared in a November interview with Boston’s Jam’n 94.5.

“I feel like I’ve always done what I wanted to do, but now I feel like I’m in a more refined zone,” he says of the album’s sonic appeal. “From all the phases that I went through, I feel like, on this album, I’ve finally combined everything into one refined sound.”

Strange Clouds drops May 1st.
