After weeks of building anticipation, rising Bronx rapper Doley Bernays drops his debut EP, Just In Case.
The nine-track project displays Doley’s diverse subject matter, lyrical dexterity and ability to provoke thought and emotion in the listener – something that is refreshing to hear amongst the endless sea of songs about popping molly, pulling strippers and throwing bands.
As well as recent songs “Blessed” and “Till We Fall,” there are also three bonus cuts on the EP which prove that Doley has been working hard in the studio over the past year and is determined to demonstrate his rap potential. Just In Case is executive produced by fellow ReeLife crew member MP Williams, who has been with Doley every step of the way and already shown that he has the creative flair to get noticed in the music industry, since co-producing A$AP Rocky’s “Ghetto Symphony.”
ReeLife’s third and final member, Euro League, also features on the project as well as Toronto natives Jordan Evans and Matthew Burnett, who happen to be the guys behind the beat for Drake and Jay Z‘s “Pound Cake.”
All that being said, Just In Case is definitely worth checking out. Stream or download below.
