Right after premiering her highly anticipated video for “Diamonds,” Rihanna headed over to do a live Facebook chat with host Andy Cohen for a lengthy interview with an in-studio audience of dedicated members of the Rihanna Navy, as well as the viewers watching at home.
It seemed only right that Facebook host such an event as Riri is now the most liked artist on the site, surpassing Eminem and Lady Gaga with over 60 million likes to her page.
The 24 year old singer has a lot on her plate at the moment with a new single, album, and mini tour on her hands. She will be embarking on the 777 tour, which entails doing 7 shows, in 7 days, in 7 different countries, which will start in Buffalo, New York. Not only that, but she’ll be travelling with members of the press from 82 further countries to get maximum world coverage which should hopefully do great things to boost album sales.
When talking about new tracks from the album, Unapologetic, Cohen had to ask about the collaboration with Chris Brown on “Nobody’s Business.”
Rihanna explains in her own words, “‘Nobody’s Business’ is the way I look at everything regarding my personal life. Even though you have to witness it, it still is mine. When it [comes] to my music I’ll give and I’ll give and I’ll give, and I just feel like I got to keep a little bit for me.”
When asked in a word association game what she thought of Chris Brown, she says with a smile, “He’s dope, he’s kinda alright.” But are they together? “No.”
The popstar also took a moment to talk about the travesty that hit America with hurricane Sandy, and what she was doing to help. “It’s really sad what happened here but tomorrow I’ll be donating $100,000 to the food bank of New York City. We’re also doing a listening party at the 40/40 [club] and everyone’s asked to donate blankets, sleeping bags, stuff like that.”
