Virgin Media have confirmed the prices it will charge for use of the London tube Wi-Fi service when the free period ends in early 2013.

Unlimited access will cost £2 for a day, £5 for a week or £15 for a month, though this of course won’t affect Virgin TV, broadband and mobile customers and the same is true for anyone on EE or Vodafone, as the two companies announced earlier this week that they have struck deals with Virgin, giving anyone on their networks the Wi-Fi service for free.

This of course leaves O2 and 3 users having to pay the charges if they wish to use the service, though it’s possible that the two may reach agreements with Virgin before the fees are brought in.
