Mystikal to return to jail for three months for probation violation | Music News
It’s been a little over two years since Mystikal was released from jail, but now the Lousiana-hailing rapper is heading back to prison for a further three months for a probation violation.
As the Washington Post reports, District Judge Tony Marabella ordered the further time due to his arrest in February for misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse battery, violating his five-year probation, which required the rapper to be arrest and conviction-free.
Mystikal, who signed to Birdman‘s Cash Money label in December of last year and is currently prepping his sixth studio album entitled Original, was released from prison in January 2010 after serving a six year sentence for sexual battery and extortion. He will be sent back to jail on May 14th.
