Hip-hop overlords The Herbaliser bring their renowned live show and an awesome line-up to London’s HMX Forum this month for what promises to be a dope night of heavily funky jazz influenced beats.

Now releasing material on Berlin based !K7 Records, The Herbaliser first made a name for themselves on seminal London based independent label pioneers – Ninja Tune. Early albums caught the ear of hip-hop heads across the world with guest appearances from the likes of MF Doom and Roots Manuva. They also helped launch the career of MC What? What? – Who would later become known as Jean Grae.

The duo’s live setup incorporates a full band to bring their layered, head nodding production to life. This spectacle promises to be the highlight of an packed line-up that includes the sounds of turntable soul trio Belleruche, an audiovisual show from Ninja Tune O.G DJ Food plus a rare appearance of Paris’s own DJ Cam. His brand of down tempo Krush/Shadow inspired beats and turntable wizardry will bring another welcome dimension to a night of unique talents.

A bill this varied, brimming with innovation and creativity should be enough to convince even the most spoilt London gig goers to part with their cash. Priced £17.50 / £19.50, tickets are available via HMV Form, SeeTickets and TicketWeb
