The folks at M·A·C Cosmetics are surely patting themselves on the back after this one.

After announcing their collaboration with Azealia Banks on a limited edition lipstick — which debuted during last week’s Fashion’s Night Out — the mermaid-loving rapper’s excitable fans came out in droves and damn near shut down M·A·C’s SoHo store as she took to the mic to deliver an energetic performance of hit after hit for them.

The 21-year-old MC was there to promote her new lipstick colour, “Yung Rapunxel,” and the store filled with eager fans who got nearly a whole set of live songs for free. It was an intimate gathering where Banks was practically an arm’s length from them as the performance went on.

Fan videos captured the moment, showing the Harlemite hyping up the crowd with “Van Vogue,” “Liqourice,” “1991,” “Esta Noche” and, of course, “212.” Banks revels in the moment between songs, telling the crowd, “I am so, so, so excited, this is such an honour for me. This is every girl’s dream. Big thank you to everyone at M·A·C Cosmetics.”
