January 24th, 2011 | by M. Gosho Oakes

Wretch 32 celebrates his Official Chart debut at a proud Number 5 for his addictive debut single, “Traktor,” live in the studio with presenter Reggie Yates. Watch his reaction to hearing his chart position in the video below – and further on, check out a rundown of the rest of the Top 5 and the official “Traktor” video.

Good on him. I haven’t been able to get the song out of my head all month – especially after watching him perform it onstage alongside Mr “Let’s Go” Diddy himself [currently ahead of Wretch at #4 with Diddy-Dirty Money’s “Coming Home,” featuring Skylar Grey] in London last week. A memorable moment for all in attendance, I’m sure – which he discusses in this clip…

The two acts complete a credible, urban music dominated Top 5 in this week’s UK Singles Chart, preceded by Bruno Mars at the top spot with “Grenade” [also enjoying the top Album Chart position; click for our review], Adele with “Rolling In The Deep” and BBC’s Sound of 2011 winner Jessie J‘s anthem spreading like wildfire, “Do It Like A Dude.”
